The Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 (RHPA) protects the public’s right to safe, effective and ethical health care.
CCO is required to investigate complaints made against chiropractors. Complaints can be made about a chiropractor’s practice, conduct or health. The Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee is responsible for reviewing the investigation and determining what action should be taken to protect the public in the circumstances.

If you have a concern, you may contact the CCO by phone to discuss the matter or write a letter, or email attachment outlining your concerns. Complaints must be filed in writing or recorded in some other manner, such as on tape. Letters of complaint must be signed and can be submitted by mail, fax or email attachment.
