CCO is hosting a record keeping workshop, as follows:

The workshop is FREE for candidates writing the Legislation & Ethics examination or CCO members within their FIRST YEAR OF REGISTRATION with CCO. There is a fee for all other CCO members - $200 per person (cheque/money order payable to the College of Chiropractors of Ontario).
Please note, all members holding an ACTIVE certificate of registration who have not yet attended a workshop are REQUIRED to attend. Failure to attend a workshop will lead to a referral to the Executive Committee for further action. If you have already attended a workshop, you are not required to attend again.
Space is limited so book early!
The workshop features a STEP-BY-STEP approach that will include:

importance of sign-in sheets

schedule of care / financial plans

informed consent - when and how

patient visit from start to finish (consultation, history, examination, report of findings, treatment, SOAP notes, dismissal)

re-assessment, progress examinations and outcomes assessment

x-rays and x-ray reports

professional portfolio

privacy legislation

The seminar will be worth 6 hours of structured continuing education hours.
There is a FEE for CCO members - $75 per person. (Cheques/money orders payable to the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.)
At this workshop, you will:
- have an opportunity to speak to and be heard by CCO council members and staff
- learn more about the role, mandate and mechanisms of CCO
- have an opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity about CCO and the regulation of chiropractic in Ontario. Some topics for discussion will be: understanding informed consent; Quality Assurance initiatives such as peer assessment and CE; ICRC and Discipline processes; Registration and Patient Relations initiatives
- be provided with an update on current events such as government and other inter-professional initiatives, and future plans for the new building
- have an opportunity to network and connect with your colleagues
