Peer and Practice Assessment Program


The Peer and Practice Assessment Program is one component of the Quality Assurance Program of the Quality Assurance (QA) Committee.

The mission of the Peer and Practice Assessment Program is to provide members with an opportunity to work with their peers for personalized improvement and/or remediation to upgrade their practice.

This program is educational, not punitive, in nature.

Participation is mandatory for members holding an ACTIVE certificate of registration. All members in this category are required to participate in the program, even if they do not actively see patients.

Selection of members to be assessed is random.

Information gathered during the peer assessment is shared with the members of the Quality Assurance Committee only.
